Tax returns for 2008 - 2009

I did some freelance during the last tax year that I informed the HRMC about and they said that I would need to fill out a tax return, but I've not been sent the form.

Should I chase them on this or is it normal practise to wait this long?

Also EricMC if you are out there I might need some of your help with it, as I've never done anything like it before Drop me a mail with your details if you have space for a small client!

Tax returns should be filed by the end of this month if done on paper or the end of January 2010 if doing it online I believe. The return can be found on the HMRC website.
