Do I need an IFA to sort things out, such as Pensions, Tax, NI, rental income... or a lawyer? Just wondered if anyone on here does this sort of thig.
I'm having at east 6 months in Dubai, followed by a potential perm move to NZ.

Cheers.

There are specialist IFAs who deal with issues regarding emmigration, google it. Most issues depend on whether you plan on leaving the UK and never coming back (i.e. selling all assets in this country and breaking all ties) or whether you will retain some links.

NZ Pensions recieve no tax relief going in, so are untaxed coming out.
You can transfer your pension to NZ and after the 5 years disclosure tie in start taking benefits untaxed IIRC.

A few caveats on that.

This is at present, and only if the transfer is allowed.

Look up QROPS and see what is available.

Talk to someone who deals with this sort of thing on a daily basis - if you want PM me, it is an area I work in now and can give you some suggestions based on your personal circumstances.

You will have lots of options and many may seem like a good idea at the time but you need to consider what your plans are and how mush flexibility you will need going forward.

At present it seems you are undecided if this is permanent or not.
