In credit on credit cards

Finally, much to the relief of myself I am out of debt on those evil credit cards and I have assessed what an idiot I was etc..

When I came to pay them off, I made over payments on them to make sure I was completley clear and any interest remaining would be cleared. Now I have done that I have about £40 in credit over the 4 cards I had (4, I know, what a cock!) so was wondering if I could just make a payment off each card for the exact amount Im in credit by to Paypal so I can use this money, as to be honest I think the banks got enough out of me!

Close the cards, you'll get a check, then you can bank the money and lose the cards at the same time!

I found this on one of mine (only a couple of quid) - I rang them to cancel the card and they credited it back to my bank within a few working days

I had something similar, an Insurance Premium was refunded to a card I no longer used - seems they are very quick to chase you for money owed, but not quick in paying back positive balances, took months!
