There is a company I'd like to put a little money on - I've been told that I need someone who will deal with the AIM market (about to google what that is) and also a broker who wont charge a fortune.

It isn't a lot of money - about £100. I've got a really good feeling about it after talking to someone not connected but very knowledgable about the subject.

Soooo. How does one go ahead with it? I was tempted to google to find a company, but don't even know what I'm looking for.

Thanks chaps thumbup

AIM = Alternative Investment Market.

The fact thatn you said "put money on" rather than "put money in" indicates that you are looking on this more as a gamble rather than an investment.

Yes it is rather more of a gamble (short term) than an investment.

Thanks Eric smile

Ring around some of the internet brokers like H&L, III etc
I think it will take you a week or two to open the account and fund it etc. But you should be able to find someone to do it.

The commission will eat a huge chunk of your £100 investment...

why do you wanna put money on it? The best reason to buy shares is usually inside information, if you have that then go for it, but make sure the entire market doesn't know already..
