Gordon Brown in public befuddlement
Discussion
Winky was taking calls on Radio 2 yesterday.
Caller said the 2.5% VAT cut had been a pointless waste of money.
Winky said no...consumer spending was holding up well in the UK...
And the VAT cut has put £20 in your pocket...
The deluded fool thinks VAT is income tax.
Good job he isn't Chancellor of the Exchequer, eh...?

Sorry, but this need to be in either the 'Politics & Economics' or the 'News and Current Affairs' forums. I have obviously alerted the mods.
I disagree. I have spent that extra £20 on my hobby therefore it is CLEARLY logical to place it under Hobbies. However, if the majority of posters have instead used that £20 to pay their mortgages then it must be listed under Houses.
