Nice i have just had the nice people from HSBC on the phone to give me advice on my accounts.... I find the following:

Mini cash ISA is on virtually no interest

Main account is on 0% due to it being a HSBC Plus account, something that was not mentioned when it was opened, took due to free travel insurance...

2nd account is only paying interest on the first £1000 and nothing else, plus its at a really poor rate.

Credit card has now gone up from 10% to 19%.

So not only have they decided not to pay me interest on all my money with them (didnt even tell me the rates were going down), but they have increased the rates on the credit card i have with the, thank fk its only used when buying flights and stuff online.

So can anyone point me in the direction decent accounts that pay some decent interest?

Also I have the option of moving my Mini cash isa to a shares one, is this wise as i cant move it back?

I have just had my credit card company of 6 plus years reduce my limit from £6000 to £600 due to me missing one payment! Even though as soon as they sent me an email reminding me, I paid it straight away.
I was informed(in broken English)on the phone that as long as I keep to the payment schedules over the next few months, they would then revenue the matter.
"Don’t bother", I said.” I am cutting the card up as we speak".

Is it a case that because I pay the full amount every month, they don’t earn money from me, and therefore don’t want my custom? Or are they justa bun-choc-hunts.
