Halifax to Lloyds switch
Discussion
It s a branding exercise. So mostly blue backgrounds to green and a few black horses here and there.
The biggest change will be transition to the Lloyds banking app, but again it s pretty much the same app re-skinned.

With the credit card thing, I was abroad, I hit a message to say they are changing over in a couple of months but my old card would work until then.
How wrong they were, lots of automated payments failed, the new card was at home in the UK so I couldn’t get the details. Then when I could get the number the new card failed on some occasions.

I have a Halifax Clarity card that I only use abroad, and when I got notified of this change I just downloaded the Lloyds app and my card worked perfectly well last week on holiday.
I too have one which runs out next month. I got the replacement thru the post yesterday, and it's another Halifax card. I was expecting a Lloyds version. I also have a Revolut card for abroad and a Lloyd's world elite card, so in truth the clarity card isn't really needed now. I might take the opportunity to bin off my Halifax card and just use the generic card I have from my main bank which now seems to have no fees/restrictions on travel usage (which was the main reason of getting the Halifax card).
(Assuming the new LLLoyds card comes with a new card number).

I have the same but I haven't had the 'invitation' to move to Lloyds yet. It says on my previous messages that it's happening in October.thekingisdead said:
my I-web account has recently transferred to ScottishWidows. both part of Lloyds.
There is no functional change to the website. Bar branding, its identical.
The functional change to i-web was various TradePlan features being removed. Maybe coincidence it happened after the rebrand, maybe not. There is no functional change to the website. Bar branding, its identical.

If you already had Lloyds internet banking for another account you wouldshould have seen your Halifax accounts showing on there already ages ago.
Fixed that for you
It's supposed to have been a seamless switch to 'co-servicing'. However I'm now three months into unsuccessfully trying to get them to merge my Lloyds and Halifax profiles. Now escalated to an official complaint as I can't afford to lose access when they shut down the Halifax systems. I'm sure I'm in a small minority but it's been an absolute s
