Has anyone done any of the free finance OU courses - useful?
Discussion
Following my post that had some very helpful responses around Bonds in a SIPP I have been reading some more. I discovered and may not be news to others but the OU offers a collection of a free finance related courses.
Anyone done any of these and found then worthwhile? At a very quick glance they look to offer some useful info.

I haven't, but if I were considering investing time in learning, Pete Matthew would be worth a look.Anyone done any of these and found then worthwhile? At a very quick glance they look to offer some useful info.

I haven't but I signed up to the level 2 course with chartered insurance institute on the ladder of financial advisor/ planner area of expertise and the course was if I remember right less than £200 including the literature and the exam
Didn't think that was too bad really, I've just done it for my own learning, level 2 is mainly pension and insurance
Pete Matthew is very well respected, with his podcasts and YouTube etc
Cheers
