Afternoon folks

Now it appears that the tax thresholds will be unfrozen in 2028, does anyone know if this just means they'll rise with inflation from the current rates, i.e the 50k limit goes up 2% or will they rise to the level they should be at if they hadn't been frozen in 2021?

Many thanks

I rather doubt it will be retrospective.

Plus they have another 3 years to decide they will freeze again anyway.....

They'll rise by the 2027/28 rate of inflation.

Lol. Id wager they find some reason to maintain the freeze. Probably that their other measures didn’t bring in a much as expected or they spent more than they were expecting.
