Not sure where the previous thread has disappeared to but if anyone wants to discuss any income streams such as

FX
Crypto
Dog wa*king
Comic books
Pokemon cards
M&A
MLM schemes
Gaming on 4 wheels
Fireworks
Etc etc...

This may be a good place.

I would say the lounge was the appropriate place for that thread since it was more a pisstake of a bunch of chancers that had no relevance to actual investing or genuine money making opportunities. Dunno why it was closed it was a good place to highlight scammers, wonder if one of them sent in a fake lawyers letter claiming their reputation was being harmed lol.

I enjoyed the 'Cheap Fireworks in Manchester' thread. I had a couple of fridges on order to store my cash. Perhaps we under estimated the veracity of their get rich quick projects and they were genuine all along rolleyes

Will Pistonheads HQ offer up a reason why the thread was closed down by the Moderators...................?

Before it disappears from memory, could someone explain why that thread was titled as such?

Because the forex scammer with the fake teeth, who likes to wk off dogs, with his Turkish neck beard, the millionaire girlfriend who cleans ovens and turns tricks on the side, also sold cheapo fireworks from his terraced house in Manchester.

Who is an odd sideline to take for someone who earns around £20’000 per day.

Probably less likely these "entrepenuers" will find the thread in the proper finance section.

I'm also guessing it was the AI Health Guru who had the previous thread removed, he has form for it.

Would be nice if the mods confirmed why it was closed down, I've also emailed but haven't received a response. That thread had a detailed timeline of multiple serial scammers activities and was potential evidence and an interesting expose in addition to being funny.

Oh, just went looking for the fireworks thread and realised it’s gone. What a shame.

Anyway, the reason for my search was this great post from a certain kestral of the north with a penchant for dog milking.

Isn’t his whole business model selling these extremely lucrative business ideas and helping people understand them, by laying it out in front of them for a fee?

Now I know it's gone I feel cheated. A missed oppo to learn about walking(?) Dogs and how to earning £20k a day doing that and other activities.

Gutted.

Or more so they haven't got the bottle to explain their decision. Moderators it appears tend to act with impunity on this forum and don't have to answer to their members taking the view if you don't like it go elsewhere rolleyes

The thread was removed as it was riddled with naming and shaming in breach of rule 5 of our rules of posting:

Do not name and shame any company or individual, or post content which could cause reputational damage or which could be deemed as libellous or defamatory. To do so puts you at risk of legal action and we may be obliged by law to disclose your personal data.

Therefore please bear this in mind when posting on threads such as this in the forums.

Is it libel to say someone who scams people is a scammer?

This, the thread had been going for quite a while without issue and only recently focussed attention on that particular person.

Therefore can I suggest, if this thread is to continue that person does not get mentioned and if you don't know who it is, don't ask. biggrin
