FTSE Index Rebalance?

I don't even understand what i'm asking, but when is the next FTSE Index rebalance? I've been told that this may be the best time to sell my Royal Mail shares.

The committee meet December 11th, but changes take place on the 20th.

I haven't looked, but are Royal Mail in with a chance of FTSE 100 membership?

If so then various Pension funds and Institutions are likely to buy, so it's possible the price could go up (but don't take this for granted!)

I may hang off 'til the 20th to sell my " portfolio ".
