Alternatives to iii Share dealing
Discussion
I have a portfolio with iii and for this they charge £20 every quarter.
That was fine when I was doing some trades as I could use the fee for commission credit, however I do not plan to make any trades for the next few years due me going part time to study at college so I don't have as much disposable income.
Is there anywhere that I can transfer my shares to from iii that will cost me less?
For reference I hold just shy of 21k shares in LLOY so the portfolio is currently worth £16k ish.
I do not plan to sell the LLOY shares for a few years.
I don't have any form of ISA so my full allowance is available to me.
Thanks, Andy

III will probably charge per line of stock to transfer out. I think about £15 each.
My firm doesn't charge any annual custody fees, but will charge £40 inactivity fee if the account isn't used to sell or buy in 3 years. Transferring in is easy, give me a message if you want any further help.
