As a percentage of investment what's a reasonable charge for setting up new investments and reviewing existing ones not done by the same company?

Are you referring to a third party recommending investments for you, and for them to manage them, and reporting on the suitability for ones that you already manage?

If so, it depends hugely on the sums involved and what you're already/what else doing with that company. The FCA won't want advisers cross subsidising business, but advisers can happily make decisions on certain commercial grounds, albeit quite closely monitored and rather limited ones.

I've been quoted 3% and 1% ongoing which seems pretty standard. What I'm having a bit of an issue with, I think, is that as I have pension schemes already the review will generate a large bill because of the money already in there.
I'll wait for the paperwork and discuss it again I think.
