Orange Business... Any experience changing tariff?

Bought an iPhone 4S last April with Voice Mobile, who are a reseller- There is a special Police deal which gives you an Orange Business tariff.
Basically, I'm tied in until next March. Prices have crept up from £30/month to approx. £35 now due to inflation rises.
I seem to recall somewhere that one can change tariff mid-contract.
Anyone had experience doing this? I really just want to cut down costs if possible as I don't use mobile very much since I've now got one through work- Which accounts for most usage?
Before anyone says it, I will call the company- Just want to be fore-armed with possible options prior to this!
