Hi Guys,

My company pension takes 5% of my salary as a contribution before tax.

Does the P60 form at the end of every financial year only show taxable salary, or total salary? I.E Is it showing my salary after pension contributions, or before?

Thanks guys.

P60 shows the net amount ie gross salary less your pension contributions. It's called a net pay arrangement (or used to be so called).

As Leaper says - the P60 shows your TAXABLE pay.

As the pension is taken from the gross pay to effect the tax relief, it must be the "net" shown.
