Credit Card, insurance on items purchased

I am not sure if I am harking back to the olden days, but is it the case that items purchased with a credit card are insured for so many days after purchase?

Have looked through the documentation with that card and can't find anything, so probably not.

I think it depends on your credit card provider and what additionl perks they offer.
