Can anyone recommend a decent PPI recovery firm who don't charge a ridiculous amount, don't take out fees before paying out and don't take forever to do the job?

Before anyone suggests I do it myself I am looking into that but that doesn't answer my question.

Doesn't answer your question but I've not heard of any. I even heard on the Radio today that the FSA guy was telling people not to use them and claim back PPI themselves.

I just got a cheque back for the PPI I had on a credit card and the process is so simple that I'd be very annoyed if I had to give anyone a share. One form, Yes or no answers, one stamp, 3 weeks, job done.

They are all terrible. I think the best you will manage fee wise is 15%. Some charge as much as 30% which is crazy considering its just a questionnaire to fill in (and a SAR to send off to each loan company if you don't have the details!)
