Why PRU? Price recovery play?

Yes, it appears to be undervalued

It's my least productive gamble though. I've only had a one previous 5% gain.

JD Sports, Kingfisher and Lloyds have been far more productive (multiple range trades). I'm currently sitting on a nice 8% gain from JD from the past few days. I forgot to mention I still hold those. I'll probably take the profits before close today.

If you like to trade price recoveries, have a look at IPX.

Thanks, will do.

I did take my profits on JD yesterday....and they've dropped 8% today!

I'll be buying back in once they stabilise.
I did buy back in when they were down 10% on Friday. By COP they were back up 4-5% and up another 7% today. Just sold again.

JD has by far been my most successful gamble stock this year.

I've overheard a few conversations recently about buying shares in companies that are offering the new weight loss drugs. One example being Novo Nordisk:

With some of these already being offered on the NHS (Ozempic etc), is it something to look in to?

EUA up 57% today!

That leaves me 68% down on my investment.

I’ve gone in with a few individual stocks in my ISA as opposed to the usual funds. Went for some that I thought offer higher growth potential (according to analysts etc.). Interested to hear thoughts: ADBE, SNOW, WBA and LSXMA.

TRX up above 70p again, highest level for over a year. Small profit so far, had much higher hopes for this one.

While doing a bit of research on the above, I've also come across these two companies which are have upcoming dates with potential FDA approval:

'Geron' (GERN) - FDA target of June 10th 2024

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/geron-announces-fda...

'Genfit' (GNFT) - FDA review target of June 16th 2024

https://ir.genfit.com/news-releases/news-release-d...

Worth small gamble incase either of them do get FDA approval?

For Geron, maybe the moment to get in has already passed 1.67 to over 3 in a day (back in March) hard to call, might be the next big thing... but not for me.

While I agree, I believe that jump in March was after the last FDA review. So I'm hoping similar will happen IF it gets further FDA approval on the 16th.
