All, mega quick mortgage question that didn't feel it needed its own thread.

Have a mortgage on house (low LTV)

Want to borrow more money for completing extension.

Do I have to use my current lender, or can I go out to the wider market?

If you are tied into your current mortgage then yes, you need to approach your current lender for a further advance. smile

Just to throw my hat in the ring...

Have also used Liam for my upcoming remortgage and he's been incredibly responsive, knowledgable and helpful.

Have and will continue to recommend.

That's great to hear, I will be in touch soon, currently me and my partner live in separate properties but planning buying together soon and would like to know what we will be able to get, my wages are a bit complicated due to working away so lots of overtime/bonuses/ tax free allowances etc.

Completed on Thursday with Sarnie on a slightly out of the ordinary product, and was as smooth as ever. Will never use another broker, and I couldn’t get a cheaper product on my own.

Thought I had posted in here!

Thanks again Sarnie for sorting out my mortgage renewal and my insurance as well.

Despite the inevitable rise, he did a great job of monitoring rates all the time and constantly working to get me as good as deal as possible.

Insurance being sorted has given me peace of mind as well should I drop dead tomorrow rofl
