The lookout apparently told his mates that it was "funny, the way she went down", after an innocent 16 year old got shot in the throat. She was just out buying a chicken dinner for ffs. And the shooter had 4 previous charges for firearms offences. How the fk was he walking the streets with 4 previous charges for firearms offences??

I suspect a lot of people have a strong opinion, but won't tell you what it is as it involves talking about race and colture at some point , and that's something we don't do that well in the UK.

I was pleased that they got "reasonable" sentences, though it will never bring up an innocent child..

I'd have been happier if they were hung, drawn and quartered.

I don't think 'black' is overly relevant here carmonk.

Of course you are right in that this kind of senseless, gun crime, gangsta bullst is more prevalent amongst young black men in London but it has nothing to do with genetics, it's purely sociological and cultural.

Put a concomitant white community in a similar historical situation and it would be no different. Of course it's very difficult to imagine such a world because we'd need to revise a millennia of history but eggs is eggs.

That's quite possible, I doubt genetics has much to do with it. It wasn't my point, though, which was that regardless of cause the vast majority of this type of crime is committed by black gang members. Yet that is rarely mentioned, whereas all other defining factors such as youth, street and gun are trotted out all the time. It's not a racist issue, not least because the majority of victims are black too, but the origins of this type of crime are clear.
