Currently my mag of choice for this is The Economist.

For intelligent and unbiased reporting - is there anything else I should be looking at?

Other then being a bit pious and sure of itself, the Economist is a fantastic magazine.

I also like to have a flick through Private Eye from time to time too.

No question: Economist.

But if you subscribe to HBR you'll also get very cheap offers for Time/Newsweek which can sometimes be worth a look.

The Week is also very very good - it comes out on a Friday and summarises everything that's gone on all over the world in easy to understand chunks, including alternative viewpoints from various experts / editorials. Breaks it down into main stories, the Americas, Europe, UK.

The economist is awesome for providing detail, but doesn't focus enough on wider current affairs outside politics and finance for me.

I used to enjoy The Economist, but its stand on Global Warming / Climate Change is quite unpalatable and is not in keeping with its usual critical style. I didn't bother renewing my subscription when it lapsed a couple of years ago as a result. frown

Private Eye does it the moment you pick it up.

Recent issue - brilliant!
