Words fail me...

"They refused to give him food because he was not the driver of a car," he said.

"Stupidly he decided to go home which was not far away and pick up his car.

"He drove back and was able to order his food.

Oh dear! They should of just served him the first time so he'd fk off,no harm done apart from one of Ronald's 'rules' broken.

Instead the fool goes back for his car, I take it there was no kebab house near by then. smile

Indeed, height of stupidity.

However this does appear to signal the end of the student post session take the McDonald#s drive through on foot gambit, which is a shame, especially when accompanied by engine noises and gear changing actions.

Or food in his house where he had been to pick up his car!

I presume only the drive in was open and some little hitler was serving who couldn't possibly throw him a dirty burger without a car.

I had a bit of aggro with them once, for driving through backwards, it was a big order, and my passenger had the list of who wanted what, and the money, so it made sense to me for him to be on the right side for the tellers window hehe

Erm... They have rules presumably to stop people getting knocked over in the drive through. Walking? get the fk out of our drive through lane, it's just for cars. It's not rocket science. More non-news.

Spoilsport.

Walking through a driv-through making vroom-vroom noises after a good night out is always great fun. I find entertaining the staff at that time of the night is the best way to get served!

It is, and I've done it myself, however, you can see in todays HSE world, (I've worked at sea for BPl, I know all about bloody HSE), they are just covering their arses. Some idiot will get run over on their property, sue, and some numpty jury, or magistrate will see in theor favour.

Not, it is not to do with that. It is down to individual outlets, just rules, not regulation.

I never said it was regulation. I said in this day of HSE. They are simply covering their arses.

I said it is nothing to do with HSE.

Otherwise 2 branches of the same chain (same franchisee) would instruct the same.

It is a outlets individual rules, primarily to stop having to serve pissed people after hours.

Wish people would stop HSE bashing before finding out first.

Ha ! so did I, I got banned from my local Mc-ming for reversing through in my kahki green left hand drive Opel Commodore, the shift manager told me off becaue it was "one way" I told her I had come in the right way but backwards but she refused to serve me.

Daft, because I was on the correct side to be served and i was on my own. What was i supposed to do ? drive in and swop seats ?

Engage hand brake and move over to receive food? Is that really so hard? (Admittedly your choice was funnier, but it can be done).

Erm, I'm not HSE bashing. However, I know that companies will do what they will in order to stop being sued for ridiculous things. Again, I never said it was McDonalds regulations, or a HSE regulation. Quit putting words in my mouth.
