Will Prince Andrew survive?
Discussion
The governments line is kind of, 'we support him now, he does great work, but if anything else comes out..'
Seems to me that this could be the strategy of doom for him, how many people will come out of the woodwork to trot out stories about the Playboy Prince? Let it be understood I'm not jealous of his no expense spared international lifestyle or anything

For someone who spent £500k last year travelling and living the high life, with a convicted paedophile? I don't think he's going to be living that life too much longer IMO.
This sensationalist 'tabloid' s
te. to stop.. he is NOT a convicted pedo. She was 17 or something, anyways, his over the top lifestyle should be stopped.I have this feeling that high up in the echelons of power, that 'underage' is not frowned on so much.. not sure why.

te you speak of sounds correct in my mind.I do agree that his lifestyle should be capped, so as not to make it seem like he is pissing all over the rest of us with his supposed freedom and impressive ability to spend half a million a year in travel.

Just so I've got the cut and thrust of this story right.
Ten years ago a 17 year old girl that is now down on her luck and sees a way to make some money out of her history, had her photo taken with Prince Andrew.
The dirty bugger.
Anorak summed it best:
"Andrew’s job is Britain’s special representative for international trade and investment, a wordy title that means Andrew gets to represent the country before deeply unpleasant people who think democracy is a joke and their nation’s GDP is their piggybank.
How exactly does this story damage Andrew’s ability to do that?"

I hope so. An aunt of mine is undergoing chemo and Prince Andrew came to open some new wing (or something similar) at the hospital last week. My aunt was sitting around with tubes pumping the drugs into her, and out of the blue Prince Andrew wandered over, sat down and spent 20 minutes chatting to her. I suppose this little story illustrates what sort of day to day routine a man like that has, opening hospitals, attending charity fundraising events etc etc, and that rather than a simple 1 minute "hi and bye" to my aunt, he took the time and trouble to spend far longer chatting to her. Made her day as you can imagine.

sounds like 'the who' on tour!

using all lower-case for the band.Who are 'the who'? it's 'The Who', not 'the who'.
