16 children, £600/wk benefits - mum admits "it's too much"
Discussion
Whoever said squeezing out a couple of kids for benefits isn't a career?

She is pregnant with her 17th child and lives rent-free with the seven youngest in a three-bedroom council house worth £135,000.
On top of this, unemployed Kathy Black, 45, receives more than £600 every week from a variety of benefits - the equivalent of a £42,000-a-year salary.
In case this isn’t enough to get by on, she receives thousands of pounds in maintenance each year from one of her ex-partners, Tony Blackburn - without any penalty against her state income.
But she is unrepentant about her easy lifestyle, blaming the benefits system for showering her with money.
‘If Tony earns £3,000 a month and I get £1,000 in maintenance the authorities don’t take any of that money into account and I still get my child benefit, so in a way they pay me too much,’ said Mrs Black, 45, of East Hanningfield, near Chelmsford, Essex.
‘The benefits system is just wrong. It’s a joke. I will go to work when my children are old enough but at the moment it will cost the state more to put them in child care while I go to work.’

Well good job she never did, say 23 years Service in HM forces then, as her pitiful monthly pension [well less than she gets a week] would debar her from ANY state benefit at all.
This, perhaps unsurprisingly, gets right up my nose at times, usually when either the council tax or energy bill comes in.
