It just boils my p!ss, when loads of people are scratching around taxed to the bks and they just carry on as normal spewing money away at every opportunity in local and national Gov't, i suppose it's to soften us up before they have to spend the 'budget' by April

Good to see the Mp's hate Ipsa looking at their expenses, Roger Gale on news yesterday "They're not fit for purpose", (like most Mp's i expect) and expect endless paperwork etc, welcome to how the rest of us go on dealing shabby Gov't departments wanting everything in triplicate and before still losing it and trying to fine you, DVLA springs to mind as one such organisation, put them in charge of MP's expenses

I have worked for companies that sold to government agencies including the NHS.
every year they go mental trying to spend whatever they have left in the budget. This includes asking for discounts to be removed, over specking equipment to get the price up and instead of one large order buying hundreds of singular untits.
