My car is considerably more expensive than yours.

Oh, come on. Haven't we all dreamed of doing something similar?
I was in the radio operator's seat in a Met Rover SD1 in a pursuit of an Allegro (the powerful and upmarket 1500cc one. The real business they were.) into the Blackwall Tunnel, which had had the traffic diverted by other units so we were on our own. The Allegro driver got a bit lary and put the back of his car into the wall on the second corner. He slowed ever so slightly.
My driver said: 'We'll give him a bit of encouragement.' and at around 70mph just nudged the Allegro's back bumper and then dropped back. The Allegro slowed dramatically and the pursuit was, in effect, over.
That was back in the 70s. Since then I've often felt the urge to do a little 'encouragement' myself.
We didn't beat the Allegro driver. At the exit of the tunnel a Met panda unit had blocked the first slip road and the offender just pulled in and parked by them. He got out of the car, steam coming from his crotch area so he must have been frightened at one stage, but he had enough bottle to stick two fingers up at us.

A few years ago, I got forced to stop and was assaulted by another driver for having the cheek to overtake him on a dual carriageway.
If I had my way, I'd get a pair of pipe hitting gentlemen to get medieval on his ass with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.
As it is, I did nothing but hope he gets his comeuppance one day.

I've just moved back to Italy and after 11 yrs in the UK I have to say the quality of driving is absolutely shocking here, both on motorways and normal A roads.
And I live near Milan. I can only imagine the carnage south of Florence!
Plenty of dicks in their focus estates get to about 10mm of your rear bumper flashing lights furiously on motorways where you have avg speed cameras (called Safety Tutor here) throughout and you are already doing the speed limit and overtaking as required.....
Compared to the UK I haven't seen many cars hogging the overtaking lane tbh, while they also do hog the middle lane when they could pull to the right.
On A roads I've some most shocking overtaking maneuvres of multiple cars/trucks on blind bends, crests, all sorts! Madness.

For all the flack London bus drivers get I've often thought they have a tremendous amount of patience for car driver f
kwittery. Almost everyone wants to 'get in front' of a bus, usually ignoring right of way or swerving hard across the front of the bus to resume place in the left lane.
Given that a bus would come off best in almost every circumstance I'm sure its often occured to the bus driver that a little nudge would be a nice payback. The only problem is that the car driver would still not realise that they did anything wrong!

Years ago ( 80's ) we used to go out in my mates dad's *Race Mini Copper S* ( a real one ) and find police cars for a bit of chase fun, they could never catch us down the country lanes and we often ended up passing them several times, all good fun as the guys driving said police cars always gave us the thumbs up when we passed them on the other side of the road..That car must be worth 40k now! full steel engine and race set-up and 8k rev's! cracking little machine.
P.S. Number-plates were taken off so his dad never knew ha ha, he was loaded anyway!
Oh, the F car driver sounds like a ***t

Wealthiest bloke I know, and I mean a cash worth in excess of £15,000,000, has an eight year old Mondeo as a daily. He has some nice metal in the garage at home, but his daily hack is the Ford.
In my humble experience, those who have it, and I mean REALLY have it, don't need to or want to shout about it.

I've caught myself several times wishing to drive a Unimog at a constant 50km/h. Through rush hour in Shanghai.1 point for every Passat 3000 taxi. Let's see who wins.

I came across some chap in a Rover 600 earlier, sat in the overtaking lane on a 2-lane section of motorway with no one else around, proceeding at 40mph. Odd.

Article is news to me. it's been a few years since i drove in Italy and i wasn;t aware they were as badly afflicted with dawdlers as we are.
FWIW every journey on local NSL roads I've made this weekend has been at an artificially enforced 50mph limit - applied by lines and lines of numpties. Just too many to make any overtaking beneficial to progress.

What a knob. Although the report makes them sound like professional criminals, so i'm not surprised.
