His rants about the SFO and BAE/Al Yamamamamamamamamamamamamamaahahahahahah, etc, etc...

Here is a thought dear British Press......he was absolutely fking right!!!!!!!

As to his 4 letter tirades, well if you had bothered to actually do a little investigating and talked to us poor mere mortals who were actually employed or had our livlihoods tied up in some way with one of Britain's most important companies then the language that we used would have made Airmiles look like a shy and retiring pansy!

Good fking God!

Shock horror Prince says something. Flipping eck, I thought it was something serious. Grauniad trying for some pay back?

At least from what I have read so far.

Having worked in the Middle East for several years I can say that corruption is the way of life out there. It is the norm and not much would get done without it. If BAE Systems weren't greasing the right palms, Dassault and Northrop would be only too pleased to step in. You either play the game or you remove yourself. As our trade commissioner, with years of experience of working in that part of the world, Andrew understands this. There are tens of thousands of British jobs and billions of pounds tied up in Al Yamamah. We need to be in the game.

I was, have been, still am and always will be aghast that nothing was ever said about the SFO and how they wiped thousands of pounds off the value of savings for hundreds of thousands of ordinary Brits for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than to make Vince fking Cable look good.

The lot of them should be strung up and shot.

British "Institutions" know nothing of the real world or if they do try to play by the book when all around are cheating like fook. Take the BBC. Panorama has single handed lost england the World Cup with it's desire to be sensationlist. What other country would allow a taxpayer funded institution to do that? Madness.

The press (nearly all of 'em) have this story has the front page today (I agree, Andrew was spot on with his assertions and with what he said, but heck, it was two years ago!).

What should have been front page is the totally corrupt FIFA shower as shown by Panorama last night so I totally disagree with the above post - are you saying it's ok? Did you WATCH the programme?

Or if England don't win the right to host the 2018 World Cup, the bid team now have a convenient scapegoat in Panorama and the BBC that they can blame for their bid failure.

Would we have got it fair and square whilst others are shall we say more enterprising? Or are we doing the same?

This is the amusing thing, Philip, Charles and Andrew have a habit of saying what most are thinking and what is normally complete common sense.

If the Royals serve any purpose in the modern world then it is being able to say the things that PC politicos haven' the balls or brains to say.

The fact that they manage to say these things in a amusing style is merely a fringe benefit.

100% correct, Den.

Overeducated, stakeless and spineless; the goons who judge, legislate and report.

The only real freedom is ever economic; to hell with democracy and all its restrictions and taxations.

Dispatch Skellern, posthaste.

I can't believe of all the Wiki Leaks so far, this even registers.

Americans providing missiles to Al Quada you would have thought to be pretty high on the list.

Creating a storm in a tea cup over non-issues like Prince Andrew is probably the bbest way of sweeping serious issues under the carpet.

That doesn't make corruption right though. Tough as it may be.

Perhaps your happy seeing the likes of Mark Thatcher skimming money out of dodgy deals, i'm not. I see no differance paying backhanders than paying Somali pirates.

International business should clean up its act.

A lot of backhanders go on in domestic business too, especially when doing work for the MOD in my experience.

If there had been just a single mention of Jade Goodie then none of the other stuff would have made it anywhere near the papers. Welcome to the modern world. biggrin
