It's not technically breaking the law.

You'd be surprised.

Firearms officers are brave, but often a bit thick.

Yes, I'm surprised too. There's probably no real harm in it, but it'd be easy for someone to make it look like they weren't taking the process all that seriously. Seems like pretty bad judgement, especially from someone for whom good judgement surely has to be a pre-requisite to do their job.

Cmon, everyone knows that people in the "Court" business play word games. It's nothing new, and it's not going to stop, and it doesn't interfere with the business at hand.

Hence me saying "probably no real harm in it". smile

Still, the chap's opened himself up to "You shot a man until he died. Instead of putting all your efforts into giving a full and accurate account of the exact circumstances that caused you to choose to take this man's life, you were attempting to fit your evidence around various pop song titles".

Like I say, seems like bad judgement.

It's quite possible that a judge will decided it was contempt of court.

AZ8? Is that his DJ name?

I know, I know. I never even took it off.

Without seeing exactly what was said and how it is impossible to form a reasonable opinion. That said I suspect that if you were looking for them you could find at least 3 song lyrics in this post alone. Has the wiff of a witch hunt designed to make sure some one pays the piper regardless of the findings of the inquest.

Opinions. Everyones entitled to them. Even those whose own comments make it clear they shouldn't be.
