The academy, which will host the sailing events during the 2012 Olympics, said no one was injured in the incident and no cars were damaged.

What's that then?

I was expecting one of the 100m £1.4 million ones to have fallen over.... That's just a wee one.

Fun Fact - those small ones are noisier than the 50m or 100m ones.

It's probably the new blades that absorb radar.
They don't make 'em like they used to!

Of course we must hate this as it is a wind turbine and anything that is green is wrong

That said my neighbour has a wee one on his garage to run all the outside lights and it exploded one night in a storm and one of the blades made it over two houses and landed on the road

Well I hate to say this, but I will.....

You see, the thing is not that people hate wind turbines.

What it is, is that the greenies are so self righteous that they cannot allow someone with the "wrong attitude" to work on "their" wind turbines.

The trouble is that petrolheads, have been making things strongly and with "proper energy" for so long that they're actually quite good at it.

Sadly it reenforces the self righteousness.

It's a windy spiral of decline.

Just build clean coal, and nuclear. Stop wasting the cash, and more importantly, the resources.

Bingo

Nothing wrong with wind turbines if done correctly

Just greens are basically commies at heart who hate everyone

Sadly this hurts proper environmental issues
