I'm not sure that will do him much harm with the voters - things like this will though:

Scupper him in what way?

If this story is true it won't result in him having to resign and it's unlikely his career is going any further (the PH fantasy of Boris being PM one day is rather far fetched).

That would be my view.

The fact that a messy haired, mildly overweight middle aged bloke is capable of sweet talking the panties off young women is a source of hope to me. As I expect it is for a great many voters! biggrin

But even if you consider Boris reputation is going to damage his appeal to female voters the other options aren't an improvement:

Ken - Lots of kids with different women.
Lembit Opik - Likes the ladies.

So all the male candidates are rather suprising top draw swords men.

However Oona King won't shag even if you offer her cash (clearly frigid)

"The Labour MP Oona King claimed yesterday that she had been offered £10,000 by a Labour MEP to have sex with him. She said the "indecent proposal" offer was made when she was an assistant at the European Parliament."

Didn't Livingstone get two women pregnant at the same time? And Lembit Opik is no better..

I don't think this is the sort of thing that would come as any surprise to most people - he's hardly been playing the saintly intellectual card all these years. The tabloids might try to whip up a storm (give or take the risk of law suits), but does anyone really think this reflects on his suitability to be Mayor?

As a country we really need to get over the 'trial by celebrity gossip' mentality. We're voting for someone for their ability to help the city, not for a place on Big Brother.

Not really news that the Standard doesn't like Boris, Livingstone writes for them.

It's almost as funny as the idea that someone offered to pay Oona King to do anything other than fk off.

Well said.

I feel sorry for Mrs. Johnson, but as long as he's doing his job, I don't really care.

The problem is only that Johnson is a Conservative.

As Livingscum proved, lefties can get away with their modern and inclusive attitudes to family and fidelity.

I'm constantly, genuinely amazed that these guys can find the time to fool around.

My job is as far from high profile and high flying as you can get, but what with that, eating and sleeping, walking the dogs and servicing my own wife, I barely have time in a month to have a wafty crank.

ETA: I guess it proves the axiom; if you want someone doing, ask a busy person.

I see what she did there. Nice try - aligning yourself Demi Moore

Best she's spitting razors about only being offered £10K rather than the full cool million rofl

Yesterday? She told that story way back when she was in Parliament.

Sorry it's an old story, I went digging for dirt on the other possible future mayors and that was the only dirt I could find on Oona King.

The Standard was 100% behind Boris during the election campaign.

In the Mail's pic, the baby looks more like Madejski than Johnson anyway.
