There was a report on the news last night, i.e. a research report, attached to a speed camera cuts piece, which found that speedcams had produced no beneficial impact on road safety. Not that it was necessary, it's been known for years.

ETA something to do with figures obtained from the Ministry of Justice by the Taxpayers’ Alliance and the Drivers’ Alliance.
