I live and work in a multicultural area with loads of Muslims. I have NEVER EVER met ANY that have had a problem with English/British flags, Christmas/Easter, crucifix jewellery, etc etc.Edited by adycav on Saturday 12th June 17:17

Who else is going to find it 'offensive'?
It's why they took down the flags at Heathrow.
I've never come across a muslim who finds the Union Flag or the Flag of St George offensive, similarly I have no idea about any flags being taken down at Heathrow because muslims have found it offensive. It's why they took down the flags at Heathrow.
Any links ? (I've had a look and couldn't find anything)
Local Council contacted one of our customers to tell them NOT to put up any England flags during the World Cup (didn't specify why).
The boss hates football, but has now bought 50 of them to put across the roof of his factory
(He intends to keep them there after the football tournament too)

I was wondering when the first such story would emerge.
This always happens.
I'm somewhat surprised to find that I posted it. But it is local to me and it does specify the reason as being "offensive" although the boss tries to deny it later. This always happens.
I find thes attempts to stifle national pride so embarassing, does it happen in any other country I wonder?
