Same st and same st audience tonight.

The only one talking any sense is Diane Abbott....and that speaks volumes.

Is Matthew Parris gay? no idea myself but you have to wonder after his stance on Laws there. And he's 'bored' with the middle East issue?

Seems to be the Kelvin McKenzie show tonight.

Has he got a book coming out? Two shows on one night?

Yes, famously so.

Yes he's gay. He famously 'outed' Mandelson on Newsnight back in the 90s (although it was hardly a huge surprise).

Yep, so his bias was obvious even though I didn't know he was gay then.

Oh dear, Kelvin is rubbish. He's correct in most of his opinions but he puts them across so bloody wrong its untrue.

Parris is now passionatley uninterested let alone bored.

OK, fk off of QT then.

Kelvin is clearly v pro Israel.
No problem with that per se - but conveniently ignores the 'International waters' bit.

Parris is a welcome change not making a comment other than (a) boredom and (b) not in the UK's strategic interest.

While agreeing with your first comment, I find myself agreeing with both Mackenzie and Parris on this subject.

ETA- 'this subject' was the recent Israel 'aid' boat situation.

I do admire Parris' conviction on these topics at least.

Also, Diane Abbott is hopeless. I hope she becomes Labour leader.

I can't follow this "reveal the private sector top earners" topic going on now.

The private sector has nothing to do it. Why is it any of their concern? They aren't paid from tax revenue...

QT tonight highlights that little has changed nor will change - facts get ignored when it comes to most topics, that there is a clear divide between the Westminster claque with their journo mates such as Parris and the electorate at large - Laws stole money but none of the MPs/professional parasites politicians could bring themselves to condemn him outright. Mackenzie is quite outspoken and seems to be speaking a lot more sense than the MPs in the panel, Parris is clearly past it.

Same old politics, same old flannel.
Lastly - Diane Abbott really really ought to be leader of the Labour Party, it would be...
...
...
...refreshing.

I find MacKenzie quite revolting, but it's annoying when he keeps making points I agree with. bd.

The rest of them tonight are a bit wet and insignificant.

All in all, QT is a shadow of its former self and not really worth watching any more.

Although I'll still tune in when (if) they have the likes of Will Self, Boris Johnson and Ian Hislop on again.

Sticks.

Highlight for me was when Diane Abbott tried to condemn the Israel thing as an attack "on the high street"
.. instead of "high seas"
