The Green Party has one MP, Caroline Lucas...

Every time I turn the car radio on, she seems to be there, pontificating the usual guff.

Why does the BBC give her so much exposure?

She's their one and only MP.

If the Monster Raving Loony Party had one MP, would the Beeb drag him in every five minutes..?

Caroline Flint ------>

Calm down, lads, I know some of you would, but just don't....

You must just coincide with her appearances.

As I very very rarely see her on TV, or hear from her on the radio.

There isn't much that happens on the TV with politics that I don't watch or know about.

Isn't there some kind of regulation that requires the Beeb to give equal airtime to all parties with a seat in the current govt?

Well, my cynical side would say that she espouses the AGW myth which the BBC wish to expand on to protect their pension pot...

I listen to BBC radio quite a bit and I've no idea what she sounds like.

She isn't in the current government.
I mean in the wider sense of having a seat in the Commons, not specifically the majority party/cabinet.

This is required in the run up to elections...

Perhaps she just makes herself available.

She has a certain boyish charm. So I don't think I would.

Important distinction though.
You can be a sitting Tory mp and not be a member of the government.
She's a member of parliament.

Parliament<>government.

Her eyebrows appear to be trying to escape.

No, no . . not eyebrows. They are a rare species of caterpillar that she rescued from an endangered rainforest and now gives succour to (should that be suckered to?) from her overheated forehead; saves wasted energy emissions etc.

Oh, and I also spotted that she has been on the BBC loads lately and that she initially agrees with everything anyone says when they question her.

A complete waste of space. Brighton . . FFS!
