I'm not one to go casting aspersions, but what's the betting that this turns out to have been a copycat incident an attempted murder, much as shannon mathews was to maddie mccann

Or it could just be a badly designed railway station platform, one that slopes towards the train tracks perhaps?

I remember hearing about something similar in this country a few years ago. The child escaped uninjured, someone from the railway company was interviewed saying that the kid had survuved thanks to their smooth shiny new trains, had it been one of there old trains with lumpy bits underneath the they would've been smashed to bits. So it does't just happen in Australia, and when it does happen here the PR men are on it straight away.

How is 'absolutely amazing' a question? Why are the platforms sloped that way?

'Uphill' is actually 'downhill' in Australia. Like how the water goes the other way down the plughole.
