Lets hope he gets well soon.
The children of Africa need him.
Plus I can't help feel a tinge of guilt when I think of him writhing in agony, wracked by the sort of pain his every utterance for the last dozen years or so has given me, perhaps he howls in pain in that slightly off tune high 'E' the sort of pain that very same note caused me, that tinge of guilt is made worse by the fact that I know back pain is a dreadful thing, it could stop him performing, it could even stop him talking and then I'm left with even more uncharitable thoughts. The children of Africa need him.
I hope everything turns out for the best Bono, I really, really do.
