A thoroughly crap article whatever your political allegiance and how charming to wish somebody to be run over by a truck...

What horrific journalism.

Is that really the best they can do?

Is that realy the best that the art teachers and diversity coaches, can come up with . . . . . pathetic, I'm glad that Zanulabour didnt ask and on the whole get 100 days before facing the critics started!

They've been in power barely three days and already the knives are out. It's utterly ridiculous simply because how can you criticise something after barely three days?

It was an attempt at humour.

An attempt.

The Mash did it so much better.

And it has these, soon to be immortal lines:

TheDailyMash said:
Tom Logan, from Finsbury Park, said: "I don't think I'll ever forget watching an unemployed Peter Mandelson being interviewed on the BBC, filled to the brim with bitterness and defeat. I was so happy I very nearly shat myself."

He added: "I'm now heading over to the Guardian website to watch those fkers squirm.
hehe

No worse than the tirade from the Daily mail writer on Question time last night.

It's quite clear that those from the clear left and the clear right are not happy about this partnership. If this coalition works it will undermine both hard right and left which IMHO is no bad thing.

Neither old labour or the old tories are electlable these days and the sooner those who still occupy those positions realise that the better.

Good god, the Grauniad has stooped to new lows of bitterness, poor journalism, sub-sixth form naivety out-dated 90's-style leftie "humour".

In the same way that the right are.

And no I don't love it. Both sides are putting thier own political views ahead of what the country needs, a stable government to sort out the financial situation. Like it or loath it, if this partnrship fails it will be bad for all of us.

I'd expect more form a broadsheet than I would from a tabloid.

The conservative party were pre-election pleding to advertise all government jobs on a website. That would remove a huge chunk of revenue from the Guardian.

I'd agree on that point. Although give it time and i'm sure the telegraph will be sharpening the knives.

I like how in the comments section one poster seems to think Nick + Dave somehow = 'Naive'. I'd point out they're not called Nack and Dive but can't be arsed registering.

no sh1t. that is exactly my point. i'm not a big fan of this partnership but i hope to god they can put aside their differences and make it work. anyone who wants this to fail, left or right, clearly doesnt understand the extent of the economic mess we are facing, thanks to the last idiots.

The Labour left are bricking it. They know that the house of cards is coming down. The cuts will be hard, and they will be deep. Ocean Finance are calling their debts in.

It's like the dawning revelation that after 13 pints, you've woken up next to a munter having not bagged up - they feel sick to their stomachs that they will be paying for those 13 pints for a generation...

Lucy Mangan is partly the inspiration behind Private Eye 'columnist' Poly Filla, indirectly related to Phil Space.

Interestingly, the mast photo for Filla is quite attractive, and also Mangan is OH MY GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE!

I have to say that it is testament to the good manners and inate respect for freedom of speach of the new Government that they haven't put La Toynbe et al up against a wall & shot them

But the Tories will be blamed for any cuts, just like last time.
