The number of people i've met saying "One vote won't make a difference" just amazes me. It's Shocking. But i've voted.

Just done it. Even at 2130 there was a fair amount of traffic in and out of my local polling station.

Many people are hoping to see greedy MPs with dodgy expenses claims hanged tomorrow.

Did it last week...... Posted..

It is a shame that more people do not vote - I bet they are in the main the ones who are most vociferous about the way the country is run...

Just back from business trip to Majorca. Didn't bother voting. Neither did the 2 guys I was with. Got into the house. Asked Mrs G if she voted? She didn't. Son phoned. He didn't vote either. None of us could care less who wins or doesn't. Waste of time. Voting only encourages the fukkers.

That's a real pity.

I didn't. It's the first time I'm really old enough to follow it, although at 26 you probably think that sounds silly, but I have no memory of any other election other than one happened.

All I've seen here is some sort of pre conceived ideas that coming from an ex mining area of Scotland, is that you 'should be voting for Labour because those Conservatives only care about themselves'. It seems crazy to me. Even people who (like me) aren't old enough to really have experienced it saying this. When confronted with, this isn't the 80s, all you get is it doesnt matter. Perhaps I don't understand enough, but I sure am the one looking at it from a much less biased point of view!

Even my Mum, who I'm now realising doesn't really seem to look at things rationally, and who should at best be assumed to always be right otherwise expect a tantrum and shouting. It's kinda disappointing to see, like having discussions about religion, or global warning with her, the obvious, the evidence and logic plays no part in her opinion... and god forbid she makes any effort to try and understand anything other than her initial reaction/thoughts.

I didn't vote either. I sent in my form to register 2 or 3 weeks ago and never got anything back.

Me and my Mum both did but my Dad and brother didn't, Dad has been disillusioned with politics ever since he helped Tony in to power in 1997 and then watched it all go wrong, and my brother was at work all day and then "couldn't be bothered" when he arrived home (he's 19).

I wasn't going to, but only because where I am it will be conservative regardless, but thought I'd add my vote to the pile anyway!
