All politicians are scum, but sadly Clegg stuck to the rules unlike some of the others so I think this is a bit of a desperate attack.

No he didn't. Rule one was you should not claim for anything that would bring the house into disrepute. As the MP's expense claims brought the whole house into disrepute they all broke rule one.
