Some of you may have read about Tangye the labrador, currently living in Afghanistan. The troops want to send him to the UK for his retirement after spending five years being a moral booster. His story can be read on http://news. bbc.co.uk/ 1/hi/england/ devon/8450181. stm

Since the story broke, a FaceBook group has been set up on http://www.facebook .com/group. php?gid=24591141 1204#/group. php?gid=24591141 1204 with 1400 members. Please consider spreading the word, thank you. The media will foucs on the appeal more as the FB members grow.

Two Labrador Rescues and NOWZAD are doing a sterling job and already have raised about half the quarantine fees etc., not bad for 48 hours! Donations would be great but raising awareness by sharing the FB link is equally important.
