You know, essentially Burgers.
MacLibels, BergaKing, Budgetburgs, Burgerswiththisandthat, Tisco bergs, Mirrisens cheepy range, Saintburys Basics Burg (errors and ommissions excepted!) biggrin

I've never eaten one in my life, honest. Yuk! Perish the thought.

REAL home-made by the missus from 100% beef is a different matter.

Anyway, here's some food ...for thought!

(scroll down to read the 'whole' piece - it goes past the vid)

For a 24 year old single bloke who lives alone...I rarely eat fast food, I just don't really like it. I have a few frozen meals in the freezer but they are just for when I'm super hungover or whatever.

Some people put acid, and that stuff they spread on roads in winter, onto their chips too!

I beg to differ, I watched it and went out for my traditional double cheeseburgers (2) and fries with a large coke!

Mmmmm mmmmmm good!

I don't buy into the hysteria being shown here. The whole process of massive food production is a disgusting one. Just watch chicken being processed and in the absence of "bad" chemicals to demonise the end result is the machine that is massive human consumption becomes the "villain" it is the need to process foods on this massive scale that leads to practices like this.

I put salt in the food I cook, I also see salt put on the roads in winter. Someone else mentioned the practice of lacing your own food with acid!! Scary isn't it? Nope! I put salt in the food I cook, if I put in 100 times as much as I usually do I will kill my family! Does that make salt dangerous? No!

Nowhere in that whole article does it say what amount of ammonia a person is likely to consume eating a portion of food made with beef-in-a-box. That pretty much proves that this is a puff piece with no real substance to be worried about.

OK I've just had a really heavy drinking session with a neighbour. Fast food seems really tempting at this point as I've not eaten dinner. Why is that? Also how come in panic food sessions people buy pot noodles? My local tesco was completely sold out?

This post took me ten minutes to write thanks to not being able to focus on the keyboard. Not wanting to get flamed by ahhh moneypenny again made me correct it. If you're gonna do something properly do it properly. Hence I'm staying up for the next hour or so while I sober up!

Not too mention that ammonia naturally occurs in the human body as a metabolic product of amino acid deamination. I still seem to be alive.

Facts, or at least part-facts can be used to backup many false assertions. Thankfully the internet makes it easy to find the rest of the part-fact....

Same here. though i went out for a KFC afterwards.

Nout wrong with the odd bit of junk food now and again.

But there is no way you could have watched that film and still maintain that eating Junk food regularly is not unhealthy for you. The guy was seriously ill near the end of that film. And he looked like death too!

Ok, he was eating fast food almost 3 times a day, but even if you eat it once a day, you're bound to see the effects sooner or latter. It may take a little longer, but the end result will be the same.

I think the key word in all this is "Moderation" biggrin

That's nothing. Have any of you ever heard of dihydrogen monoxide? Its in everything, the seas, the soil, the air, our food...and nobody is doing anything about it.

They've found DHMO in meat that could only have got there by injection, and you should see that stuff corrode through steel!
