Paxman just told the President of Iceland that the message he is sending to the world, by sending the question of whether they should repay UK and the Dutch the money they owe to referendum is, "You can't trust an Icelander."

You know, Thatcher got a war in '82 to get re elected, and Winky could probably round up enough shipping to be able to invade Iceland...

Just like here, MP's often take a vote for an easy life regardless of what the electorate think is right. Just because the MP's voted for it doesn't mean the Icelanders were in favour. Remember Iraq
