The usual banter about deficits. Brown seems stressed.

God I hate those setup questions.....so obvious when Winky has pre-set answers laugh

Really wish they'd push more with the fact that we're snowed under despite claims that we'd never see snow in the South again due to "Global Warming"

Ah, Conservative woman just tried and was laughed at, typical!

Why? Because of Hoon and Hewitt? I don't think so...

Quite a lot of people do want Winky out, but don't want to upset the apple cart. However the cart has been upset, so now they can get rid.

But I really don't think that detestable Hewitt woman could do anything to help Noo Labour win an election. Not so sure about Geoff Hoon but I doubt it.

How? There is no mechanism whatsoever to remove Brown.

You could remove him under the Mental Health Act, he must be borderline sectionable.

Bloke from the MET office on News24 said earlier that the snow was not an indication of climate change.

There is no mechanism for an unelected person to be in charge, but Mandy seems to be doing nicely.

No there is a mechanism for that. But unless Winky wants to go there is nothing anyone can do to remove him. This is just a lot of hot air from a couple of has beens.

If enough ministers refused to work with him, wouldn't that force his hand?

Absolutely, in theory......... How many ministers walked last summer? Purnell, Blears, Hutton, Flint etc.. All within a few days, Purnell and Flint at times calculated to be most damaging. It's very unlikely that any cabinet ministers will walk, they are all too spineless. If say Johnson, Burnham and a Milipede were to all go to him and say "you go or we will all go together" then maybe he'd have to go. But it won't happen, especially this close to an election. Also if that did happen he could go to the Queen and call a general election rather than resign.

Just watched it on iPlayer and to be honest I thought CMD did sound weak.
Brown sounded quite strong - I dont agree with him and its very delusional BUT people dont hear that! All they hear is a strong sounding and consistent voice.

CMD is starting to sound like a ranting man. It did not work with the quiet man - Iain Duncan Smith (remember him) and ranting will NOT work with the public.

With all the problems at the moment he needs to have more broader questions that are much more man-on-the-street stuff then odd fiscal battles that most people will fall asleep too.

Marred couples attack is more of a soundbite than what CMD was banging on about.
