Ah but you know that the fact that it's cold enough to freeze yer tits off is just proof that Global Warming is killing the planet. yes Same as when it's hot in the summer. And sometimes even when it's a bit cloudy...

You have all noticed that it's not been called 'Global warming' for quite some time now? Re branding as 'Climate change' and various other ruses are already being used.

Oh come on, how could have most of our Leaders signed up to a theory that might be wrong?
They being so able to analyse all put before them.
A theory, they firmly say, is not up for debate, "the science is decided".
Blips along the way?
Mere anomalies, will be their reasoning.
As they carry on using carbon themselves, for their interminable conferences.
Which resolve nothing, except to entrench their power.
That being the point.

Just to add, I was in Florida last October and it was hitting nearly record highs.
Indeed, the 'gators on the Shark Valley tour were nowhere to be seen, trying to keep cool.
Our rental car's temp display said 105 degrees F, for most of the day.
That climate, there's no predicting it, is there?

I totally agree with you, but the term Global Warming in the media has made a comeback in recent months. No idea why.

I looked at that and at first thought 14 isn't too bad! Reminds me of flying to Chicago and the pilot said the temp was 2 degrees. I thought, that's OK - same as when I left Manchester. When we landed I realised he was talking 2 degrees fahrenheit vs 2C in Manchester.

My daughter is doing a marathon at WDW this weekend and she's a bit worried about how cold it will be at the 6AM start time.

I was in Orlando during the spring last year and the temperature dropped to around 6 centigrade and it was mid twenties the day before! A good deal of Floridians don't seem to own any warm clothing, so this sort of weather really catches them off guard. The waterpark was almost empty that day, bar a view mad Europeans.

Just because we are more "conscious" than previous dominant species doesn't mean that we are any more capable of influencing the pattern of the Global climate than they were.
It's a presumption that suits those who would pretend that we are more relevant, to the Planet, than those species previously dominant.
We, as a species, will disappear.
It's of no importance, to the Planet, or the Universe.
Only, it would appear, to some of us.
Can those tell us for how much longer we, as a species, will survive by following their edicts?

The snag is that the science is based upon heating scenarios. Even though there may be areas which cool, the average has to go up.

CO2 is not an IR reflector.

When I was a kid, (although not as long ago as you BG), Climate Change was known by four words.....

Spring
Summer
Autuem
Winter
Crikey! Did they change the spelling of autumn since I went to school?!?!?
