One of the most dangerous of all, listed with Vesuvius, Mt Rainer, and Pinatubo.
Could go with a REALLY big bang....

Typos and me are actually common bedfellows. However, I normally catch them in time.

That's awesome. Really shows how powerless we are.
Until we set off an A bomb.

I like this comment:-

"Bertie Dastard wrote:
The CO2 is not the danger, nor is the lava. If this volcano does explode with enough force the ash in the air will keep the planet dark for months, ruining crops and killing millions indirectly. This will also counter balance global warming, and reduce the planets population, so long term it could be a good thing. My money is on the super volcano under yellowstone to blow and really address the population increases. Short term tradegy for long term gains."

He's got to be a PH'er! smile

Mayhem death and destuction - isn't it a tiddler not a supervolcano? The goat in the video might want to check its life insurance small print. If it does go pop in a big way, seeking a bit of limelight as well as lavalight, it'll offset El Nino's last gasp in 2010 and as the public will be about as clued up over volacanism as they are about ENSO it'll be 15-all, play.

As we know, the world is now without a doubt a few degrees warmer, so decades ago this molten lava probably would have cooled and solidified.
Those few extra degrees cause the magma to stay hotter for longer, and will mean disasters like this will be more common.

I've flown past Mayon a few times, the pilots would often bank the plane so people could get a good veiw, even those on the wrong side of the planesmile
It's in a quite rural area, so moving the people isn't too much of a problem.
Daal is the one close to Manila, not big and majestic like Mayon, it is in the middle of a lake, (guess how the lake was formed),that thing is always steaming.
Only positive is there are some hot springs close bysmile
