Darling vs Osborne
Discussion
Both were on Andrew Marr this morning.
I find myself siding with Darling who I thought made a considerably better fist of the questions put to him, and who looked and sounded considerably more credible. On banking bonuses, inheritance tax, reducing the deficit, tackling public spending I thought that Darling gave the more convincing arguments. Oh, and Osborne does seem to have a habit of coming across as a bit of a school-swat weasel type character.
I feel sullied.
Please shoot me down in flames so I can get rid of this grubby feeling.

Everyone seems to be a 'lightweight' until they've been in power for xxx years etc. I'd trust him over any of Gordons cronies in a heartbeat.
Remember how much experience and stature this Labour lot had in '97? No, neither do I...
I think that is a fair point. Clearly I can't possibly vote for the incumbent monkeys with a clear conscience, but (with the notable exception of Hague) the current senior Tories just don't feel right to me. Remember how much experience and stature this Labour lot had in '97? No, neither do I...
