I've been posting on the cat out of the bag thread for some time:

I have just caught out a professonal Media Management Company , trying to spin manipulate, a long running thread on Climate Gate in the UK Telegraph website:

They have been posting as if another member of the PUBLIC

He even refers to me by name in his post, denigrating by arguments?

Today: some chap called David Welch has been posting, lots of stuff misdirection, even saying that is o the recors isn't true isnt happening......
He even used my name in his replies.

Can't really see why you have restricted this to the TVR fraternity, it's not as thought it's even a TVR related question.

There used to be a time when you could be reasonably assured that a Telegraph reader would at least be able to stand his own corner and make a reasonable debate all on his own :sigh:

You can't make folks minds up for them - just pose a point of view, suggest different ways of looking at things.. Facts are always debatable if you can be arsed, but TBH the crowds are too bigoted these days to bother about facts (whether true or spun) anyway IMHO.

If he is posting as an individual its no problem, if he is not then I agree its underhand and I'll help to prevent it from being successful if I can, but offering technical help on the science is pretty much the best I can offer, sorry.

Climate change & the crap spouted about it will impact the TVR community & any other petrolhead as the government has latched onto it as a means of raising tax to cover the billions they have wasted it is not going away unless we stand up to it
