I've watched him regularly on BBC Breakfast with another guy from the Telegraph, who comes across as quite decent. Maguire on the other hand comes across as smarmy, arrogant, patronising, regularly sneers at the other guy, referring to him as "Tory Boy" and on the whole a complete tosser.

wasnt he part of the whole Damian McBride smearing thing...and after it came out that all the rumors where lies fabricated by labour back office guys basically said 'well theres no smoke without fire you know...'

worse than that: even after the full enormity of McBride's spite had been exposed, Maguire wrote a column hinting at Cameron having and STD "And just what is the truth of Cameron's alleged embarrassing complaint of a highly personal nature?" and then the arse also said, despairingly, that the only way Brown could win the election would be for Madeleine McCann's body to be found in Cameron's garage.

That made me smile!

He was on BBC Breakfast this morning banging on about the scummy Tories bringing in the increase in Pension age to 66 in 2016 or whenever. He seemed to completely ignore the fact that the Labour s had already announced this for later on but that appeared to be fine in his book?

Utter wker and wanted to make sure it wasn't just me ?


p.s. and yes, I seemed to remember he was heavily involved with the McBride slurs!
