Interviewing CMD.

Really are a hateful lot these lefties that work within the BBC. Marr is giving Cameron a tough time, have to say CMD seems to be rising above it well. CMD can hardly get a word in edge ways without Marr jumping in wanting an argument, he is just not listening to CMD at all.

Marr makes me shout at my TV, What a cretin.

Roll on the election, would be nice to see the BBC become inpartial - wishful thinking?

ETA - Spelling, doh.

Mmm, watching it here.

CMD doesn't seem to be doing too bad, but isn't Andy trying to give him a spanking.
And good on him, poli-journalism should be testing them, not merely facilitating the soundbite.

If only he was consistent (AM that is)

Besides that Marr gives everyone a hard time so why not DC?

Seems like a fair interview to me. DC is being very evasive on some subjects though like the cuts they are proposing.

Why is he asking what Cameron 'is worth'?

Arrrrrg I just fired up my pc to post one word on this bloke

Calling him a toff, asking him what he is worth. utter utter .

Did he ever ask any of these things to any Labour MP who is rich? Did he even ask Brown about not having a referedum. Did he ever ask brown about how many would lose jobs?

I fking hate the tories but Marr you are a fking embarresment.

Hmmm seems a little personal and biased to me.

Pictures of camerons past, asking about his personal wealth, calling him a toff, fighting any point he makes point blank - i know Marr asked Brown about the pain killer use but it was a tame interview compared to this. Marr seems to believe, like Labour, that money just grows on tree's, people will have to loose jobs because they have to to get the public finances back in order - we cant afford the bloated public sector as a country - im dissapointed CMD did not make that fact.

Of course all politicians deserve a grilling, just hate the bias from the public funded BBC.

Marr seemed very unprofessional to me with all the personal stuff BUT I wish Cameron would be a little more aggressive towards him. He seemed to easily directed by Marr rather than stand his ground and state his message.

I was very surprised at just how overtly biased Marr portrayed himself just now! Even with GB last week, he seemed almost apologetic asking him the questions about pills, this week; you could almost smell the hatred Marr has for Cameron - "Toff", "What are you worth"? I couldn't believe what I was hearing!
I also got the sense that Marr was trying to get the public to think that, under Cameron, jobs will be lost (a foregone conclusion, whoever's in power, due to the untenable deficit), but under Labour, all will be safe.

What would have happened if he asked Brown about his private wealth?

ETA - Yes Gary, I would have loved cameron to ask what business it was of his regarding his personal wealth, and ask why Marr is asking such stupid questions!

Hasn't the BBC refused to reveal what it pays its 'stars' After a request using the freedom of informations act?

BBC Parliament now has coverage of the Labour 2009 conference.

Today the Conservative conference gains momentum and you would hope the coverage would be leading to the start in manchester.

I do not want to see the BBC be biased towards any party, all i ask for, as someone who pays for this service without choice, is impartiality.

Agreed that CMD needs to be far more aggresive, no other way to battle the hatred Labour spins out.

Off to wash the car, mow the lawn and sort the mrs out, my blood pressure can take no more!

I expect it will all come back to haunt the BBC after the Labour government has gone.

Nearly started a thread about her review of the papers, "Euro Yes vote disaster for the Tories......are they going to have a referendum?..... will split the party in two..... a virus running through the heart of the party... Tory Swine Flu...."

Another jumped up champagne socialist, villa in the south of France owning bh who just doesn't get it. The most important issue in the UK right now is sorting out the mess Labour has made of the economy you stupid tart. Although it is a very important issue I think if you were to ask most people in the UK, Europe comes well below sorting the mess in Afghanistan with our troops not being properly supported which Labour has caused or the chav culture which Labour polices have actively encouraged.
Rightly or wrongly what most people in the UK are concerned about right now is paying their fking mortgage and keeping their jobs and they don't believe the party that you support is the party to help them do that. And lets face it, it won't matter who's in power, you will still find work and an avenue to spout your poisionous bile to the masses. So you won't be worrying about the cost of running that darling little place a la France.

Hateful person.

Marr really should put a disclaimer up telling viewers that he is a lifelong socialist married to a socialist Guardian journalist who is also the daughter of a Labout peer. Then people could take his comments with a pinch of salt. Having said that CMD should be grilled, as should all senior politicians.

The iplayer link is up and running now. I am as sceptical as anyone about Cameron but even look at the picture they have chosen on that link of CMD. - utter s.

I think that there are a number of MP's currently discussing whether or not they can use their Parliamentary Privilege to circumnavigate said injunction(s).

It's just a matter of time......

Well that injunction worked a treat!

Try googling "Andrew Marr" and "Injunction".

Marr is one of the arch-Sycophants along with Robinson.

Only Jeremy Paxman and Andrew Neil seem capable of an impartial interview at the BBC these days.

Simple reason why I won't watch the political pieces unless it's Paxman or Neil.

They had some bright eyed pretty young thing covering a lot of the PLP Conference during the week - it was some of the most cringeworthy TV I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Like Marr and Robinson, the fawning was so snivelling even some of the Labour interviewees looked uncomfortable with it.
