I see Red Kenneth has been whining on about Boris again- because Boris got onto Eastenders. Is there anything too petty for The Comerade to whinge over?

"Former London mayor Ken Livingstone has criticised the BBC for allowing Boris Johnson to appear in a guest role in an episode of EastEnders. Mr Livingstone said he was turned down twice by the show, including in 2006 when he wanted to promote recycling."

He would have been quite good:

"Over the years EastEnders has typically featured a number of elderly residents, who are used to show vulnerability, nostalgia, stalwart-like attributes and are sometimes used for comedic purposes"

I still lament the day I saw him walking towards me along the embankment near HMS Belfast that I didn't trip him up and bundle him over the wall into the Thames.
